what were your biggest challenges with senior project so far?

 

So far my biggest challenges with senior project is writing the research paper and finding a mentor. Writing the research paper is one of my biggest challenges so far because I had problem with finding the right thesis statement because I couldn’t prove that human trafficking happen because people already know that, so I had to find something else to prove about human trafficking. When I finally found the right thesis statement I start to have even more problems with finding arguments to support my thesis statement because I had to find ways to prove that learning about human trafficking can help prevent it. My paper is challenging because I am having problem with finding supporting detail to prove my thesis.

                Another big challenge that I am facing with my senior project is finding a mentor. My senior project is on human trafficking and it hard finding a mentor because I need help from someone who has experience in this field. I need someone who is formal with the human trafficking topic so that they can be able to guide me with my project. I’m having trouble finding someone with this understanding because I ready don’t know where seek them at.

                Another challenge that I’m having with my senior project is finding a place to do my field work. I’m having problem in this area because I need to a place where I can perform service that relates to my topic. My topic is hard so it more difficult to find a place to do my fieldwork. I need to find some where were they helping women and kids with problems because it’s the closest thing that compares to my senior project topic.

 

Why did you choose your topic?

My name is Mattie Gaye I am a senior at Parkway West High School. As a senior at Parkway West, we have to present a senior project before we can graduate and my topic is on Human Trafficking. Human trafficking is a case in which it is giving people in different part of the world a chance to gather together and help each other. I choose this topic because I feel that more people need to pay more attention to the horrible crime that people in the world are facing. I want a chance to tell more teen about human trafficking so that they should be more cautious with their surrounding and the different people they associate themselves with because and body can be a human trafficker.

            I choose this topic to make the public aware that the more educated you are about human trafficking the more likely you are to protect yourself. I want to inform people that there are many ways they can save themselves from human trafficking. I want for more people to learn about human trafficking and its form. I want to get more people involve in learning about human trafficking so that they can be able to help prevent situation like this.

            I choose this topic because I feel that human trafficking is a nation wild problem and it needs to be known so that people in the world can come together and put an end to the crime. I wanted to learn more about the problem that the world is facing today. I choose this topic because it inspires me to want to be more involved in finding ways to stop this horrible crime. I want more teen to be aware the this human trafficking can happen to any want and that most time when that person is gone they never get a chance to be with their family again, so the need to be more careful with people they befriend.
