After watching this video, I gained different understanding of what happens to victims mentally as they are being introduced to sex trafficking. Stacy, who was 14 at the time, was emotionally unstable and unable to understand that this 22 year old man was a threat even after meeting him in person. She thought she loved this monster and only did this out of her love for him. Once she finally found her only voice of reasoning, she was able to leave this man who was brought her in human trafficking.
This is what many young women and children go through daily as they are more exposed to men and women in the human trafficking ring. From different only sources, people are seeking emotionally unstable and unloved women and men. As this continues, very few get a chance to get out of this. However, Stacy was able to get out of it.
